Objective
To implement and manage the processes related to the National Academic Depository (NAD) and Academic Bank of Credits (ABC), ensuring secure storage, retrieval, and transfer of student academic records and credits in line with UGC/NEP guidelines.
- Facilitate the registration of students and faculty on NAD and ABC platforms.
- Ensure secure uploading and verification of students’ academic data and transcripts.
- Coordinate with examination, admission, and academic departments for accurate data entry.
- Guide students and faculty regarding the process of credit transfer and retrieval of academic documents.
- Ensure timely updates of credits earned through internal and external academic activities.
- Conduct awareness sessions and training programs on NAD/ABC usage.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, universities, and NAD/ABC authorities for compliance.
- Submit periodic compliance and activity reports to higher authorities.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of all data uploaded to NAD/ABC.
- Follow UGC and NEP guidelines strictly while handling credit transfer and record maintenance.
- Maintain transparency in student support services related to credit banking.
- Ensure student grievances regarding NAD/ABC are resolved promptly.
- The Convenor must use the Cell’s seal on all official circulars, notices, and documents issued.
- Collect and verify academic records from examination and academic departments before uploading.
- Facilitate student and faculty registration on the NAD/ABC portals.
- Upload and update credits/academic documents in coordination with the Examination Section.
- Maintain a Digital Record Log for every transaction (upload, transfer, verification).
- Conduct orientation/awareness sessions for students and faculty regarding NAD/ABC benefits and usage.
- Provide assistance to students in generating ABC IDs, credit transfers, and accessing their records.
- Address student/faculty queries or grievances regarding NAD/ABC in a timely manner.
- Submit the Meeting Book and compliance/activity reports to higher authorities on or before the 5th of every month.
- Maintain committee files including:
- Circulars and notices (with seal)
- Registration and participation records
- Data verification and upload records
- Digital Record Log
- Student/faculty awareness programs conducted
- Meeting Books
- Reports submitted to management/regulatory bodies
- Submit an Annual Report summarizing student registrations, credits uploaded, transfers facilitated, and activities conducted.
