Internal Examination Committee
Objective:
Ensure smooth conduct and fair assessment during internal examinations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and announce the schedule for internal examinations.
- Plan and propose necessary budget for conduct of internal examinations.
- Coordinate with faculty for setting question papers and invigilation duties.
- Ensure the availability of examination halls and necessary facilities.
- Monitor the conduct of examinations and address any issues promptly.
- Compile and release internal assessment results.
Things to Consider:
- Ensure examinations are conducted as per the academic calendar.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of the examination process.
Protocol to be Followed:
- The Convenor must use the committee seal on all circulars and documents issued by the committee.
- Announce examination schedules and related information well in advance through circulars in coordination with the mentoring cell.
- Maintain detailed records of question papers, attendance, and assessment results.
- Coordinate with the Timetable Committee to ensure minimal disruption to regular academic activities during examinations.
- Ensure timely communication through meetings with students and faculty regarding examination guidelines and schedules.
- Monitor and evaluate the examination process to ensure fairness and transparency.
- Address grievances related to internal assessments by both students and faculty promptly and effectively.
- Submit the meeting books on the 5th of every month.
- Maintain files for all activities mentioned in 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, Meeting Books, and Budget Proposed File.
- Submit a report after each test/exam.
