Objective

To facilitate national and international exposure through structured faculty and student exchange programs aimed at enhancing academic collaboration, cultural understanding, and research partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and establish collaborations with reputed institutions for exchange programs.
  • Design and coordinate faculty and student exchange activities in consultation with partner institutions.
  • Facilitate the selection process of eligible students and faculty for exchange opportunities.
  • Handle documentation related to MoUs, letters of intent, program outlines, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with UGC/University norms, visa regulations (if applicable), and institutional policies.
  • Maintain records of exchange participants, feedback, and impact analysis of each exchange initiative.

  • Encourage both short-term and long-term exchanges based on academic calendars.
  • Promote interdisciplinary participation and ensure equal opportunity for all students and faculty.
  • Support the academic, cultural, and logistic needs of incoming and outgoing exchange participants.
  • Align exchange programs with the objectives of NEP 2020, internationalization of education, and quality enhancement frameworks.
Protocols to be Followed
  1. Use the Faculty and Student Exchange Program Committee seal on all official communications, MoUs, and reports.
  2. Announce opportunities for exchange programs through notices, circulars, and digital platforms well in advance.
  3. Shortlist candidates based on merit, interest, and eligibility criteria set by the institution and partner body.
  4. Organize orientation sessions for outgoing students/faculty and welcome briefings for incoming participants.
  5. Maintain documentation including MoUs, travel permissions, program content, attendance, and feedback reports.
  6. Submit a detailed report of each exchange program to the IQAC and Principal within 7 working days of completion.
  7. Ensure exchange schedules are planned without disrupting regular academic activities in coordination with the Timetable Committee.
  8. Monitor the quality, impact, and academic benefit of exchange programs through post-exchange review meetings.
  9. Submit monthly meeting logs and activity updates by the 5th of every month to the Principal/IQAC.
  10. Facilitate publication or presentation of exchange experiences through college magazines, websites, or social media platforms.
