Curriculum Enrichment Program

 

Objective

Enhance the knowledge and interdisciplinary skills of students through value-added curriculum enrichment programs across various departments including Commerce, Computer Science, and Chemistry.

Responsibilities
  • Organize certification courses, workshops, and guest lectures related to the respective programs (e.g., US-CMA, ACCA, Aviation, Cloud Computing & Data Science, Biochemistry Techniques).
  • Collaborate with external bodies and professionals to ensure industry-relevant content and certifications.
  • Facilitate student enrollment and completion of these programs.
  • Plan and propose the necessary budget for each enrichment program.
  • Monitor student participation and ensure successful delivery of program objectives.
  • Maintain documentation of student progress, feedback, and outcomes for each program.
Things to Consider
  • Ensure the enrichment programs complement the academic curriculum and address skill gaps.
  • Focus on emerging industry trends and align with global education standards.
  • Promote inclusive participation across departments.
  • Coordinate with the Placement and Career Guidance Cell for career-linked outcomes.
  • Engage alumni and industry experts for real-time insights and mentorship.
Protocol to be Followed
  1. The Convenor must use the Curriculum Enrichment Program seal on all official communications and documents.
  2. Program announcements must be made well in advance via circulars and official communication channels.
  3. Keep comprehensive records of all program-related activities including registration, attendance, outcomes, and feedback.
  4. Submit a detailed report on each program's implementation and success metrics to the Principal at the end of each semester.
  5. Schedule events in consultation with the Timetable Committee to prevent disruption of regular academic classes.
  6. Communicate timely updates regarding the program progress and deadlines to the students.
  7. Conduct regular review meetings with involved faculty and stakeholders.
  8. Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of each program on student learning and employability.
  9. Submit the meeting records/log book by the 5th of every month.
  10. Submit an activity/event report within 3 working days after program completion.
