Website Committee

Objective:

Manage and update the college website to provide accurate and current information.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the website is user-friendly and accessible.
  • Plan and propose necessary budget for website maintenance and updates.
  • Regularly update the website with news, events, and academic information.
  • Monitor website performance and address any technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure their information is accurately represented on the website.
  • Gather feedback from users to improve the website.

Things to Consider:

  • Ensure the website complies with accessibility standards and regulations.
  • Promote the website as a primary source of information for the college community.

Protocol to be Followed:

  • The Convenor must use the committee seal on all circulars and documents issued by the committee.
  • Announce website updates and related activities well in advance through circulars.
  • Maintain detailed records of website updates, feedback, reviews, and technical issues.
  • Submit a statistical report on committee activities and achievements to the Principal at the end of each semester.
  • Ensure timely communication with departments regarding updates and changes to their information on the website.
  • Hold regular meetings with committee members to plan and review website content and functionality.
  • Submit the meeting books on the 5th of every month.
  • Maintain files for all activities mentioned in 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, Meeting Books, and Budget Proposed File.
