IT Club

Objective

Enhance the technical skills and knowledge of BCA students through various IT-related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures on emerging technologies.
  • Plan and propose necessary budget for IT club activities.
  • Conduct coding competitions, hackathons, and project exhibitions.
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer learning and mentoring among students.
  • Collaborate with industry experts for internships and training programs.
  • Keep students updated on the latest trends and advancements in the IT field.

Things to Consider

  • Ensure activities are relevant to the curriculum and industry standards.
  • Promote active participation and collaboration among students.
  • Coordinate with Magazine and Social Media Optimization Committees.

Protocol to be Followed

  • The Convenor must use the committee seal on all circulars and documents issued by the committee.
  • Announce events and activities well in advance through circulars and online platforms.
  • Maintain detailed records of all activities, including participant details, outcomes, and feedback.
  • Submit a statistical report on committee activities and achievements to the Principal at the end of each semester.
  • Coordinate with the Timetable Committee to organize events without disrupting regular academic activities.
  • Regularly update the notice board and online platforms with information on upcoming events and resources.
  • Hold regular meetings with faculty and student members to plan and review activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of programs on student learning and skill development.
  • Submit the meeting books on the 5th of every month.
  • Maintain files for all activities mentioned in 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Meeting Books, and Budget Proposed File.
  • Submit a report after each activity/event.
