Objective
Promote health and well-being among students and staff through various initiatives and programs.
Responsibilities
- Organize health check-up camps, wellness programs, and awareness campaigns.
- Plan and propose necessary budget for health-related activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and organizations for weekly health check-ups and workshops.
- Provide resources and support for mental health and counselling services in coordination with the counselling cell.
- Monitor and address health concerns and emergencies within the college.
- Promote a healthy lifestyle and preventive healthcare practices.
Things to Consider
- Ensure activities are inclusive and accessible to all students and staff.
- Promote a holistic approach to health and well-being.
- Coordinate with Magazine and Social Media Optimization Committees.
Protocol to be Followed
- The Convenor must use the committee seal on all circulars and documents issued by the committee.
- Announce health-related events and activities well in advance through circulars and online platforms.
- Maintain detailed records of all activities, including participant details, outcomes, and feedback.
- Submit a statistical report on committee activities and achievements to the Principal at the end of each semester.
- Coordinate with the Timetable Committee and schedule weekly health check-ups.
- Ensure timely communication with students and staff regarding health guidelines and updates.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of health programs on the well-being of the college community.
- Submit the meeting books on the 5th of every month.
- Submit a report after each activity/event.
