Objective
To promote and ensure the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of students, faculty, and staff at Surana College by implementing health awareness programs, providing support services, and fostering a healthy campus environment.
Responsibilities
Health Awareness and Wellness Programs:
- Organize health camps, fitness programs, and wellness workshops.
- Conduct awareness campaigns on nutrition, mental health, hygiene, and lifestyle diseases.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for expert sessions and check-ups.
Mental Health and Counseling Services:
- Provide access to professional counseling services for students and staff.
- Organize stress management and mindfulness workshops.
- Establish peer-support groups to address mental health concerns.
Emergency Medical Assistance:
- Ensure the availability of first aid kits and medical facilities on campus.
- Develop protocols for handling medical emergencies and accidents.
- Maintain a list of nearby hospitals and emergency contact numbers.
Hygiene and Sanitation Monitoring:
- Oversee cleanliness and hygiene standards across campus.
- Ensure regular sanitation of restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas.
- Implement waste management and eco-friendly initiatives.
Healthy Lifestyle Promotion:
- Encourage participation in yoga, sports, and recreational activities.
- Advocate for a balanced diet and healthy eating habits.
- Promote work-life balance through faculty and staff wellness initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement and Feedback:
- Gather feedback from students and staff to improve well-being programs.
- Collaborate with NGOs, healthcare organizations, and government agencies for support.
- Address health-related grievances and suggestions effectively.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain records of health programs, attendance, and impact assessments.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory health standards.
