IQAC

IQAC

Being a crucial component of the quality assurance mechanism in the higher educational institutions in India, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) helps in promoting a culture of quality, enhancing accountability, facilitating continuous improvements, and meeting regulatory requirements set by bodies such as the UGC and the NAAC.

The IQAC is typically made up of faculty members, administrators, and other stakeholders who are dedicated to improving the institution’s education and services. The IQAC oversees the preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), which features the institution’s quality assurance activities and progress towards meeting quality improvement objectives.

Apart from maintaining a syllabus and curriculum, the progress of an educational institution is amplified by implementing diverse methods like the usage of ICT tools, executing experimental learning techniques, and using critical teaching as a part of classroom pedagogy. Assessments such as POs and COs also help in ensuring that the educational programme and individual courses are aligned with the overall learning goals and objectives of the institution. The implementation of quality assurance measures such as academic audits, feedback mechanisms, and performance indicators of the educational institution also improves the overall quality.
