Research and Development Committee
Objective:
Promote and support research activities among faculty and students.
Responsibilities:
- Encourage and facilitate research projects, publications, and presentations.
- Plan and propose necessary budget for research and development activities.
- Organize research workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Provide guidance and support for securing research grants and funding.
- Monitor and evaluate ongoing research projects.
- Collaborate with external research organizations and industry partners.

- Ensure research activities align with the academic goals and priorities of the institution.
- Promote interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
Protocol to be Followed:
- The Convenor must use the committee seal on all circulars and documents issued by the committee.
- Announce research-related events and opportunities well in advance through circulars.
- Maintain detailed records of research projects, publications, and funding received.
- Submit a statistical report on committee activities and achievements to the Principal at the end of each semester.
- Coordinate with the Timetable Committee to organize research workshops and conferences without disrupting regular academic activities.
- Ensure timely communication with students and faculty regarding research opportunities and guidelines.
- Hold regular meetings with faculty and student researchers to plan and review activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of research activities on academic and professional development.
- Foster a research-oriented culture that values innovation and critical thinking.
- Submit the meeting books on the 5th of every month.
- Maintain files for all activities mentioned in 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, Meeting Books, and Budget Proposed File.
- Submit a report after each activity/event.
