Objective

To promote and ensure the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of students, faculty, and staff at Surana College by implementing health awareness programs, providing support services, and fostering a healthy campus environment.

Responsibilities

Health Awareness and Wellness Programs:

  1. Organize health camps, fitness programs, and wellness workshops.
  2. Conduct awareness campaigns on nutrition, mental health, hygiene, and lifestyle diseases.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals for expert sessions and check-ups.

Mental Health and Counseling Services:

  1. Provide access to professional counseling services for students and staff.
  2. Organize stress management and mindfulness workshops.
  3. Establish peer-support groups to address mental health concerns.

Emergency Medical Assistance:

  1. Ensure the availability of first aid kits and medical facilities on campus.
  2. Develop protocols for handling medical emergencies and accidents.
  3. Maintain a list of nearby hospitals and emergency contact numbers.

Hygiene and Sanitation Monitoring:

  1. Oversee cleanliness and hygiene standards across campus.
  2. Ensure regular sanitation of restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas.
  3. Implement waste management and eco-friendly initiatives.

Healthy Lifestyle Promotion:

  1. Encourage participation in yoga, sports, and recreational activities.
  2. Advocate for a balanced diet and healthy eating habits.
