Objective
To enhance students' knowledge, skills, and leadership abilities in the fields of commerce and business by organizing interactive sessions, competitions, and industry engagements at Surana College.
Responsibilities
Skill Development and Leadership Training:
- Organize workshops, guest lectures, and training sessions on business management, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
- Conduct leadership development programs, including public speaking, decision-making, and strategic planning.
- Facilitate mentorship opportunities with industry professionals and alumni.
Industry Exposure and Networking:
- Arrange industry visits, corporate interactions, and networking events.
- Partner with business leaders, startups, and financial institutions for knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Encourage participation in internships, live projects, and consulting assignments.
Entrepreneurship and Business Competitions:
- Organize business plan competitions, case study analyses, and hackathons.
- Provide a platform for students to pitch ideas and receive feedback from investors and entrepreneurs.
- Conduct simulation exercises, stock market games, and financial planning challenges.
Commerce and Finance Literacy Programs:
- Host seminars on taxation, budgeting, investment strategies, and emerging business trends.
- Develop awareness programs on fintech, digital payments, and economic policies.
- Conduct sessions on professional certifications such as CA, CS, CFA, and MBA pathways.
Student-Led Initiatives and Projects:
- Establish student committees for planning and executing club activities.
