Alumni Cell

Objective:

Maintain and enhance relationships with alumni for mutual benefit.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize alumni meet-ups, events, and reunions.
  • Plan and propose necessary budget for alumni activities.
  • Maintain an updated database of alumni contact information.
  • Facilitate alumni engagement in mentoring and guest lectures.
  • Gather feedback from alumni to improve academic programs and campus facilities.
  • Promote alumni contributions to the institution in terms of donations, expertise, and resources.

Things to Consider:

  • Ensure alumni events are inclusive and well-promoted.
  • Recognize and celebrate the achievements of alumni.
  • Coordinate with Magazine and Social Media Optimisation Committees.

Protocol to be Followed:

  • The Convenor must use the committee seal on all circulars and documents issued by the committee.
  • Announce alumni events and updates well in advance through circulars and online platforms.
  • Foster a strong and active alumni network that supports current students and the institution's goals.
  • Document alumni contributions and update the passbook designated for the Alumni account.
  • Prepare the financial statement and record the audited version.
  • Gather details of alumni who are working or studying and coordinate with the placement cell.
  • Submit the meeting books on the 5th of every month.
  • Maintain files for all activities mentioned in 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, Meeting Books, and Budget Proposed File.
  • Submit a report after each activity/event.
